Arctic Lupine

Scientific name: Lupinus arcticus

Habitat: Prefers open areas (including gravel), grassy alpine slopes, moist tundra, heath and woodland. Lupines are well adapted to northern climates, and can enrich soils that have low nitrogen levels.
